Anneke, Me and Laura B.......

Yes that is me with the First Lady !

I was privileged to attend the National Book Festival Breakfast at the White House with my sister Anneke.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere even better. I am so fortunate to have been able to experience this! I had full access the entire East Wing of the White House ! I was allowed to sit on chairs take all the pictures I wanted ..... unbelievable !! I know this sounds hackneyed, but I got to touch feel and breath history. Of course, the beautiful Sargent on the wall didn't hurt either.

Below are the links to the event and the First Lady's Speech.
